Hey Eve!

Talked to your Mom today and also watched the news. You and your Mom got evacuated today. You live near Washington, DC, our nation's capitol, and terror alert times are on everyone's mind. I hope "terror alerts" are all gone by the time you get here, but we have service men in the country of Iraq trying to liberate the people. It's a really wierd deal, because most everyone supports it, except the people that we are trying to protect. Oh well, you have history books to explain the whole deal. It was pretty exciting though, but sort of scary. Some small plane flight instructor and his student, like flied their plane near the white house (the president's home). Bad plan. Two F-16 fighter jets and an apache helicopter intercepted the plane and almost shot it down. Turned out to be a simple mistake. Everyone OK. I am sure that your Mom's pulse rate and yours went up a few notches. Love, Tim.
