Tim

Hello Eve!

What up chicken butt? I haven't written for a while, but that's what is cool about a deal like this, you can always add something more later. Well, your Mom is still wearing out the cameras. First still photos, now videos. Most are pretty cool though, and they help everyone keep up with what you have been up to. The last few videos have been really cute. You are talking about stuff in sort of your own language, but I am not sure what you are saying. It's probably something like laughing about how you have trained your Mom and Dad so well and that they have bought in so easily to seeing to your every whim and notion. Anyway, that's cool, enjoy it while you can. By the way, how's the potty training going? Your Mom has been trying to potty train you. I am not sure how that's working out, especially after you peed and pooped on her and your blankets about a ten times. It was a good thought, though Mom. You are growing like crazy. You are starting to look like a little kid, kind of. But, you are holding your head up better, and for that matter your own body. I believe you will be walking before most kids. You are already almost as tall as your Mom, so maybe you will be a basketball player. Don't get too tall though, because NASA has a height restriction. Like I said, your Mom has done a really good job of keeping everyone up to speed on your development, while you live so far away. I would say that is one of the things that all of us look forward to. Hey, I'll try and do a little better and drop you a note more often. Have a wonderful Christmas and we love you and miss you very much.

Let it snow! Let it snow! Let it snow!

Hello Eve!!

Just wanted you to know how much I am looking forward to seeing you for your very 1st Christmas! It seems you like the snow, but I hope it isn't snowing when we try to drive across the country to see you!

Your parents managed to get a video of you to come across over the internet and it is of you giggling!!! I have played it over and over and over. You just crack up when your Momma buzzes like a bee! Seeing you in the video is almost as good as being right there with you!

I am sure I have really surprised your Momma and Daddy with my computer skills! I am the first one in the family that has put a picture on your blog site. Anything for you! I'm sure this will start something and everyone will be joining in!

It has been the most amazing Christmas season this year! I think just having you in our lives has made everything seem so much more meaningful. We are all happier and more peaceful and look forward to each new day and what you are doing next. Thank you for making all of us see what is most important in life. Family!

See you soon! Try and give your momma a break and just give in and go to sleep - I promise, you won't miss a thing!

All my love,

Cuter by the day

Hello again little one!
I first wanted to note how cute you have been getting. Every time your mom sends me a new picture I say that it is my new favorite, you just keep getting cuter by the day. I think me and your grama might come out to see you soon. I can't wait to hold you again. I bet you are getting heavy. You look like you have grown so much since last time I saw you. With all the pictures your mom takes, you might just become an actress at the age of 2. You are definately cute and smart enough. So I just finished school for the rest of the year and I am so excited. When I get done with school like this it makes me miss everyone so much more, because usually it means a holiday is near. I heard you experienced your first snow the other day? You were smiling in your pictures so I am sure you enjoyed it. You will probably like the cold weather like your mom. You will probably love it when it gets cold and you can wear sweaters and hats everyday. Speaking of sweaters your mom use to have a favorite sweater that she wore everyday. I think it was lavender with a cool pattern around the neck. I am not kidding she loved this thing and literally wouldn't take it off. You will have to ask her about it when you get in grade school and see if she has it to hand down to you. Well enjoy the rest of winter. I can't wait to see you. Love you. Aunt Jill

getting so cold

Thanksgiving this year was fun. We spent it in D.C. with your friend Cayden. You were so good and of course you looked adorable in your pumpkin outfit. Daddy went to Las Vegas, but he called frequently and asked how his squirt was. I don't know how this infant potty training is going. We have to keep you naked and you pee and poop on me and the floor frequently as a result. It's funny the first few times, but the carpet is taking a beating. Of course, your dad loves it and cracks up every time. Your first Christmas is coming up soon, so we'll have to start a tradition. I don't know what it will be yet, but I'll try to be creative. We are going up to Pittsburgh to see your grammie and poppie and some great grandmas and aunts and uncles. You've started to not like any strangers. Even people that you used to like, if they get up in your face to talk to you, you get the saddest look on your face and immediately start crying. You experienced your first day of snow on Monday, December 6. Of course, we took pictures of you in the snow and you loved it. However, you love doing anything outside, even if it's below freezing. You did have your first out-loud giggle. It was two days ago. Your dad was holding you and making you throw punches at my face and you started giggling. It was so cute we had to try and make you laugh again. We sang songs to you and eventually what did it was holding a toy in front of your face and making it buzz around you. You repeatedly laughed out-loud and I think your dad and I could have done it all day without it getting old. Your sleeping patterns have been hard on your mom lately. You won't sleep for more than three hours at a time. Last night you did sleep for two 5 hour shifts, which was a big relief. I have been trying to guilt the rest of the family into writing more. For some, it has been over a month! I guess they will write when they have something worth while to say. I will write again soon. Love you.
