Halloween lasts more than one day in this house. We attended the Boo at the Zoo celebration at the National Zoo. These are the before and after pictures of your makeup for the evening. You were very excited once you saw your cat face and asked about every 10 minutes if it was still on your face. You also made me take the pencil with me to fix your makeup should it have been smeared. You brought home a bag of candy and had a great time.
For Halloween night we went to Hilloween and then trick-or-treating with your friend Olivia. You had a fantastic time and we were able to go on a Hay ride with two Clydesdale
horses pulling it through Capitol Hill. We couldn't have asked for a better ending to Halloween. You brought home another bag of candy and again had a great time. It is now a week post-Halloween and now that the best candy is gone and most of the pumpkins have been thrown out, Halloween is officially over to you. Every now and then we see another pumpkin and you excitedly point it out until I acknowledge your observation.
The day after Halloween was when we took off to make out trip to Kansas for a week, but that trip requires its own post that is to come shortly.
